Underground testing for Sydney Metro Stage 2 heads to Sydney Olympic Park

Samples of rock and soil will be taken from a depth of up to 40 metres below Sydney Olympic Park, as part of investigations for Sydney Metro Stage 2, Central to Westmead.
A Sydney Metro spokesperson said two sites will be established along Olympic Boulevard, outside the ACER Arena and Sydney Olympic Park Golf Range, over the next two weeks as geotechnical testing begins in the area.
