Metros can be found in Toronto, Washington, Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York, Singapore, London, Madrid, Dubai, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Munich, Berlin, Barcelona, Frankfurt and a host of other global cities.
In fact, of the 50 major cities around the world, only five do not yet have a metro system. Sydney is in the world's top 50 urban cities by GDP and yet it is currently one of those five global cities without a metro system. Sydney is ready to take the next step and join the global metro league.
